Flox Cottage
Originally built in 1870, this original all-timber cottage has been carefully restored in 1994 by the Dean Family of the Lazy Duck Hostel and Fhuarain Forest Cottages. It is furnished and equipped to provide a home from home for families or small groups. Situated just a few minutes walk from the centre of Nethy Bridge, Flox Cottage faces South within its own fenced garden opening, to the rear, directly into a network of woodland paths leading to the village golf course. Rebuilt to highest modern standards, accommodating 5 to 6 people, the cottage still benefits from its original heavy double timber roof, long since hidden under an outer cladding, making it cool and comfortable in summer and cosy warm in winter.
